I adore these scalloped bow pumps by Oscar de la Renta. They definitely put me in the mood for fall and a good tweed skirt. I think the marigold color is so cute and is going to big an especially big color this coming season. They are also so girly that I can't help but love them. I always love when things go unabashedly in one direction, or are just a little bit over the top. They are definitely working their way quickly up my the ranks on my shoe crush list. They have just enough elegant modern woman mixed with 70's flower child for me to be happy. I love the way that they have them styled in the ad campaigns. Clearly this shoe is fabulous, with it's glamorous gold t-strap and it's naughty little peep toe, but I think what I love most is the gold deco style lines on the heel. This heel to me is the perfect mixture of old hollywood and modern femininity, and I only dream about wearing them to a fabulous dinner or twirling around on a dance floor somewhere. I often wish there were dinner clubs like they had in the days of old Cary Grant movies, and perhaps a young Cary still around to be my dance partner. Check out the color-blocked version. Which do you like better? What do you think about these shoes?  Barney's sent me an email about these shoes awhile back, and that day started my hunt for them in my size. While I know they are way out of my budget right now, I like to know that they are out there waiting for me... I can only find them at Neiman's now and only in a size 7. That will not work. I think these shoes are so beautiful and I love the mixture of the glitter and the suede. They made these shoes is several different color combinations and similar styles, but I think these are by far the most spectacular.  I know most people who see these shoes think they are a little over the top, but I love how the heel curves under and the heel height. They are beautiful, and I can't get over it!
