Ooo la la... it's finally here my trip to Paris that I have been looking forward to since, well, since I ever heard of France.  Maybe even before then.  I am going to soak up every bit it I can until I come home on the 31st.  I have a lot of things planned, but I was careful not to do too much planning so there would be time for spontaneity.  I brought a lot of elastic for my expanding waistline.  What are you doing this weekend? Is there anything I should do with my free time in Paris?

Hope you are having a wonderful time. Suggestions? Three and they all involve church.

Take the time to walk all the way to the top of Notre Dame, Tiny steps but oh, what a view.

Saint Denis Basilica, in the Paris Suburbs now, but FIRST GOTHIC cathedral ever, tombs of most of the French Royalty, It was groundbreaking.

And if you only do one thing, watch sunrise over Paris from the steps of the Sacré Cœur, Not to be missed, so quintessentially French
